Huggie Earrings with Hinge Snap Closures
Huggie Earrings with hinge snap closures are great everyday wear earrings. They are easy to put on and take off and are postless, making them comfortable to wear overnight.
However, due to the nature of the snap closures, over time the ear wire can move out of place and not click into the latch as tightly as before. But if your favorite huggie earrings suddenly no longer stay in your ear, don't worry! There's an easy fix to this issue.
To fix a huggie earring with a hinge snap closure that has become loose, all you need to do is gently push up on the ear wire to move the latch back into position. Do this slowly so as not push the latch too far. Test the snap closure as you are adjusting until the earring clicks tightly back into place.
This adjustment might need to be made periodically, especially if you take your huggie ears on and off frequently.
Endless Hoops
Endless Hoops are also a great option for long-term wear since the closure is seamless and post-free, making them comfortable as well as cute!
To wear endless hoops, gently pull the hoop apart so the wire post comes out of the tube on the other end. Gently move the two ends sideways away from each other to open the hoop wider. Do not push up on the wire post as this can damage the strength of the wire and could lead to breakage.
Once the hoops are in your ear, gently push the two ends towards each other until you are able to slip the wire post back into the tube.
